SUMMARY:MHR Incubator Fellowship Application Writing Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This event is is fully-funded for Early Career Researchers. This writing retreat is for you if you: \n\nare working in any professional\, clinical or research role relevant to mental health\nknow which funder and fellowship – doctoral or post-doctoral/advanced – you are aiming for (and are eligible for)\ncan describe your planned research focus\, and be ready to refine it\nknow where you want to be hosted for your fellowship\nhave identified the lead supervisor/mentor you want for your fellowship\, and have their support.\n\nThe event includes: \n\nDedicated writing time\n1:1 surgery sessions with senior colleagues and fellowship application panel members\nTips and approaches for fellowship applications\nStructured break times and refreshments – stretching\, local walks\nChance to meet other mental health researchers and build your networks in the field\nOptional social time in the evenings/breaktimes\nAll meals and refreshment breaks included\nA range of different places to write – in company and separately\nPreparation support so you make the most of the writing retreat\n\nApply online here \nThe deadline for applications is Monday 31 March\, 9am.

DESCRIPTION:Join Oxford’s annual showcase of research delivered by our nurses\, midwives\, allied health professionals\, healthcare scientists\, pharmacists and clinical psychologists (NMAHPPs). \n\nDiscover how NMAHPPs are contributing to the delivery of clinical research\, service evaluation\, audit and quality improvement activities.\nLearn about the scope and priorities of NMAHPPs research.\nExplore opportunities to participate in or lead research in your specialism.\n\nHear from researchers\, research delivery colleagues\, and research leaders. Discover new opportunities to engage in research\, and connect with colleagues across Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust\, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust\, Oxford Brookes University\, and the University of Oxford. \nOur keynote speakers will each bring a unique perspective on advancing NMAHPP-led research at local and national levels: \n\nProfessor Alison Richardson\, Head of Nursing Research (Academic Leadership & Strategy)\, NHS England\, and Clinical Professor of Cancer Nursing\, University of Southampton.\nProfessor Dawn Carnes\, Director\, Community for Allied Health Professions Research.\nProfessor Michelle Briggs\, Clinical Professor of Nursing at the University of Liverpool and Director of Nursing (Research and Academic Development) Liverpool University Hospitals.\n\nRegistration from 8 am\, with a welcome at 9am from Professor Sir Jonathan Montgomery\, Chair of the Oxford Academic Health Partners and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
