DESCRIPTION:The NIHR Research Support Service is offering a series of workshops to help you develop an application to: \n(1) the NIHR Predoctoral Award Programme \n(2) the NIHR Pre-Application Support Fund \n(3) the NIHR SPARC or LA-SPARC schemes These schemes are being examined together as they all have things in common. The workshops will look at the foundations of a research career and what you need to have in place for a fellowship or placement and\, for predoctoral awards and the PASF\, the key elements required to develop a good research idea. \nThe workshops will help you pick a good research area\, choose the right supervisory team\, design a career development programme and communicate well when writing your funding application. \nMore information and registration.

SUMMARY:Clinical trial legislation and GCP E6 R3 updates
DESCRIPTION:These online workshops offer an introduction to the updates in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the UK Clinical Trial Regulations (The Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) (Amendment) Regulations 2025). The new regulations will take full effect from 28 April 2026 \nHosted by our RRDN GCP facilitators\, it will provide essential background information and highlight key changes relevant to research delivery staff. The primary goal is to inform staff about these upcoming modifications. The session will present an overview of significant language\, definitions\, terminologies and operational changes introduced by these updates.
