SUMMARY:What we carry: Living with pain
DESCRIPTION:What We Carry is a collaborative art-science project led by artist Marysa Dowling \, OH BRC\, the University of Oxford and the Chronic Pain Neurotechnology Network+. \nIt uses photography and creative expression to make the invisible experience of chronic pain visible. \nBy helping people articulate what is often misunderstood or difficult to verbalise\, the project offers a powerful platform for exploring the emotional and social dimensions of living with pain. \nThe What We Carry:Living with Pain in person exhibition will start on 25 October until 6 December at The Corridor Gallery \, situated on the Level 2 main entrance corridor of the John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford. There will be an artists talk as part of the exhibition on 7 November. DESCRIPTION:This course is designed to provide the essentials to become and/or improve the management of clinical research as a sponsor.  A one day course that will provide an opportunity to develop skills and gain knowledge in the underlying principles of sponsorship. The course covers widely accepted concepts that not only directly apply to sponsorship but are transferable to other areas of the research industry. \nThe course is not a replication of Good Clinical Practice\, a deep dive into regulatory compliance or a “how to” guide to being a sponsor\, but is designed to support organisations in developing tools to become effect and efficient sponsors in the research landscape. \nContent Covers: Sponsor Oversight\, Financing\, Risk Assessments\, Quality Management Systems and Transparency \nWho is the Course for? \nThe course is designed for anyone working in research sponsorship from non-commercial organisations or even small companies wishing to develop their own sponsorship portfolio.  If your organisation is new to research sponsorship or would like to build on your current processes this course will provide the information to support that development. \nMore information and registration.
