Our Future Health mobile clinics (South Oxford)

The Our Future Health programme aims to help people live healthier lives for longer through the discovery and testing of more effective approaches to prevention, earlier detection and treatment of diseases. We are aiming to recruit up to 5 million adults who truly reflect the UK population. We launched recruitment in 2022 and are delighted to share that we now have over 2 million volunteers signed up so far. We’re continuing to roll out our appointment venues more widely and are keen to work with you to ensure the people of Oxford are well represented in the programme.

Volunteers give their consent to join the research programme and provide secure access to their health records, complete a questionnaire, and attend an appointment to provide a blood sample and have some physical measurements taken. They are also offered information about their own health, including their blood pressure and heart rate. More information about what’s involved is available here.

These Oxford clinics are part of our continued expansion, joining existing Our Future Health appointment venues, selected Boots stores and NHS Blood and Transplant locations across the UK in welcoming more people to take part.
