Watch now: Joint Oxford BRC public talk. How patient data can transform diagnosis, treatment and care in the NHS

Recently, both Oxford BRCs hosted a joint public talk at the University of Oxford’s Department for Continuing Education in Oxford.

Professors Andrea Cipriani and Eva Morris discussed how patient data can transform diagnosis, treatment and care in the NHS.

In the talk Professor of Health Data Epidemiology and NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre Theme Lead for Translational Data Science Eva Morris explained how harnessing data appropriately can inform NHS cancer services – and prevent hundreds of deaths every year.

Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the NIHR Oxford Health Clinical Research Facility and Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre (OH BRC) Theme Lead for Data Science Andrea Cipriani discussed how clinical data can help deliver personalised care for patients with mental health disorders, improving their outcomes and reducing NHS costs.
