The CRF site offers eight examination rooms, two of which are specifically designed for sleep studies. An on-site pharmacy, a newly fitted lab for tests and storage (complete with freezers and temperature control systems), and staff offices ensure a smooth research experience.
The NIHR Oxford Health CRF examination rooms have specialised beds to accommodate research procedures. These rooms are equipped for monitoring vital signs, blood draws, and computer-based testing. Two rooms boast specialised lighting for studying sleep patterns. There are dedicated staff offices support data entry, storage, and calls, while an on-site pharmacy and specialist equipment enhance our research capabilities.
For sleep studies requiring a more controlled environment, dedicated rooms with a bathroom, kitchenette, laundry facilities, and a private garden are available. These rooms can even be separated from the main building for added privacy. Finally, a portable building with two rooms, a bathroom, research furniture, staff space, computers, and storage provides additional research flexibility.
