We are delighted to announce that Angela Conlan has joined us at the Oxford Health Clinical Research Facility (CRF) as the new Public and Patient Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PPIE+P) Lead. Angela brings a wealth of experience and passion to this role, having worked with various teams across Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust over the last eight years.

Angela’s journey with Oxford Health FT began in 2017 as the Arts Coordinator at Witney Community Hospital, which led to the role of Arts Lead for the Oxford Health Arts Partnership (OHAP). Here she built upon her background in dance to promote health and well-being through creative arts, winning the British Geriatrics Society Special Award in 2024 for her creative work with older people.
Angela has recently completed her Senior Leader Level 7 Apprenticeship and is now moving on to complete her MBA, which she will develop alongside her part-time role with the CRF and her role as Interim Development Manager for the Oxford Health Charity.
As the new PPIE+P Lead, Angela is excited to further engage with the community, patients, and stakeholders to enhance involvement and participation in the CRF.
You can read more about our PPIE+P initiatives and opportunities on our dedicated How To Get Involved page.
